Well, the title says it all, really. Welcome to Elfie's Rant About the Macintosh.

I have two classes in the Mac Computer Lab at my college: Macintosh Basics and Webpage Design. I missed Macintosh Basics this morning because I overslept and missed my bus (bad Elfie! Get more sleep!), but I made it to Webpage Design. Now, I kinda like Webpage Design, except that we don't do a lot of coding. It's really an art class. In any case, I was working on my lab...well, okay. I was kinda working on my assignment and kinda surfing the net and kinda playing with Photoshop, all at the same time. Can you blame me? It's a four-hour class, and I'm studying almost EXACTLY the same stuff in Basic Design: Color. But I digress. The point is that the bloody computer blew up and had to be restarted TWICE, and it wouldn't give me back my Zip disk until we did unto it what the lab expressly asks you NOT to do--we used the "Special" menu. I don't know what the heck that means, but we did it, and I got my disk back.
By the time we got out of that class, I was ready to kick the stinkin' Mac down the stairs (we were four flights up, hee!). Not only does it insult me by not having a right-click, it also freezes up when I have only five windows open! My PC, which is not top-of-the-line, can handle that without freezing and blowing up all over the place! Of course, the second time the blasted thing blew up, I only had THREE windows open! And these Macs are BRAND SPOONING NEW! GAH! And they tell me that these things are preferred for Graphic Design? No, thank you. I shall do everything I can on my PC, and only use the Macs when I absolutely have to, like for testing webpage layout views on Macintosh browsers. Bloody, spooning Macs. How I hate and despise 'em. They were spawned from the pits of Hell. This is, of course, only my opinion. You are free to have your own, but I'm not changing mine. So there. Hah.
Of course, after that horrible ordeal, I got to get together with Alex for some Chinese food, watching of Magic Users Club, and comforting snuggles. Alex shares my opinion of Macs. We don't want one, not even one that is brightly-colored and see-through. Have you ever noticed that I-Macs look like Jell-O snacks? That's just plain weird.
In any case, now I am happy. I have been snuggled and huggled, my homework is done for the evening, I had Pocky today, I've been creative, and I'm probably going to work on my webpage tonight. Yay! ^_^ Of course, I haven't been able to see Marky since Wednesday, so that's a bummer. -_- I hope they are having fun watching Slayers...without me...*sob* I'm too busy! Gah! Gotta get a life or something...

My kitty is asleep on my bed. Awww...happy kitty. *pets*

And now...you guessed it! It's another quiz!

If I were in a movie, I'd be a funny sidekick!

Take the Movie Quiz now!

Well, that's it for me tonight. More as things develop.

Elfie Out.

Oh, how embarassing. >.<
I hate macs, too. Blah. *hugs her PC!* Besides, why get a mac just for the colors? *grabs some stickers and pens* We can decorate our own. >:)

PCs ROCK!

I agree completely! Hee hee...maybe when I get a shiny new computer, I'll paint the outside like a friend of mine does....*G* Stoopid Macs. Stoopid. I like to spell stoopid this way. Stoopid.
