Hi-ho, Hi-ho, It's Off To Work I Go...

*pokes pensively at readers* Oi, are you alive? No comments for the past six or so entries...am I really that boring? o.O;; Maybe if I RESPONDED to my comments every so often...must ponder that option.

Anyhoos...the Great Job Search has begun. I went out last week with Alex and picked up job applications for every bookstore in the area. I figure, if I'm going to get a new job, I might as well get one that I'm going to enjoy. One of the bookstores is actually HIRING! Woo-hoo! I'm taking them my resume and their filled-out, neatly-printed application today. Think happy thoughts at/pray for me, wouldja? I really need this job.

My friends seem to be getting depressed lately. Big hugs go out to dmscv...wish there was more I could do, hon.

I just finished reading a really fun book yesterday: The Murders of Richard III by Elizabeth Peters. If any of you enjoy mysteries, go read Elizabeth Peters. Now. Immediately. She is FANTASTIC. I mean, this book is one of her earlier ones (her later ones are even better), and it's fun. Ask arianadream about Elizabeth Peters and the Amelia Peabody series sometime. She'll tell you.

Last week, arianadream introduced me to the wonders of IRC. It was...fascinating. But weird. Heh.

In other news...the webpage is coming along, but it still needs more work (big surprise there). The wedding plans are also coming along. Whee.
