It is August. Christmas isn't for another FOUR MONTHS. I am not Martha Stewart, and I haven't even started thinking about to whom I am sending Christmas cards. Knock it off, already.

I agree the holiday would be great if commercialization wasn't involved, and if my family would chill out.

Date: 2006-08-29 09:28 pm (UTC)And yes, commercialization of major holidays is Teh Suck. Makes it feel less like a holiday and more like a 'shop til you drop and don't feel guilty' spree.
I mean, the folks here at my job now have to work on the holidays so people can buy their new flashy over-priced cars.
