I DROVE HOME!
Oct. 14th, 2006 04:01 pmSo, some of you may remember my Terrible Accident last April when I totaled the car? Remember how I did that by turning too quickly into the driveway and going off the road? Today, I conquered the trauma. I drove all the way from Cresswell, on the freeway, no less, and my only real flaw was turning into the driveway a teensy bit too slowly. But there was no one behind me to care. I got home safely, without panicking Alex even the least bit. I have driven twice today, both times on the freeway. I will crash into no more trees. I feel a little shaky, but very, very mighty.
I am feeling a good deal better today. Thank you, everyone, for all of your support. It's good to know that I have such wonderful friends. *snugs for all!*
Also, Happy Birthday,
aesa and
fearga!
My god daughter, Alielle, turned 2 today. By the end of her party, she was covered with frosting and confetti. She ate a good deal of confetti today; I hope it doesn't damage her. She seemed very happy.
That is all for now. I must go now and work on my half-circle cloak, which my teacher was kind enough to let me do instead of the gown that I had planned. Glee!
