Educated Junkmail?

elfie_chanOkay, my junkmail has hit a new level of amusement. Apparently, Petruchio and Lucentio want to give me two free nights at a hotel. Needless to say, I deleted these e-mails, but not before checking them out a bit. Do you recognize those names? If you don't, then you have probably never read Shakespeare's Taming of the Shrew. Both names are main characters in that particular play. I am entertained that these two e-mails (with identical e-mail messages) come from people who are educated enough to use the names of Shakespeare's characters. Petruchio, in particular, has always been one of my all-time faves, even though I generally want to kick his butt for him.
They're getting tricker, these junkmail people. *shakes head*
I've also received a thingy that says that I can win $10,000 for writing a poem. Hrmph. I'm suspicious.
I FINISHED A STORY TODAY! YIPPEEE! *bounces* I'm thinking about putting stories on my webpage when I get it up. Opinions? Suggestions?
*grins* My webpage will be up within the next three weeks. It has to be...it's a class project. My teacher loved my layout, which made me very happy. Next week, we'll learn to slice graphics and put them in tables and fun stuff like that. We learned a bit about Dreamweaver this week. Looks like an interesting program. I wonder why it's also called Nightmareweaver? o.o;;
Gah! I'm trying to work, and people keep coming into my room! Well, they knock first, but it breaks my concentration. Grr.
Scams, scams everywhere...makes me almost feel paranoid. *smashes 'em* Bad people, trying to deceive the innocent! YOU WON'T GET AWAY WITH THIS! *goes all heroic and beets scammers severely*
Okay, here's something annoying. Have you been a victim of this? Your phone rings, and you pick it up. (This is natural, of course.) Instead of a real person on the other end, a COMPUTER talks to you. And here's the final insult--the computer is telling you how to vote. Okay, if someone wants to tell me how to vote, they should tell me THEMSELVES, instead of setting up a COMPUTER to do it! I hang up on computers. Heh.
Well, enough ranting from me. I have to go do chores now...*blehs*
