For those of you who have been keeping up with me--I am no longer sick. Yaaay! After four--count 'em, four--nasty days of sickness, I am finally recovering. I'm still a little croaky, but my throat doesn't hurt, I'm breathing normally, and I don't have a fever. I also don't feel like I was hit by a truck. I will probably be able to perform/sing/tell stories at Egils! HAZZZOOOOOO! This is cause for CELEBRATION! I'm gettin' ice cream tomorrow. ^_____^v

Random thought: I am SO behind on my e-mail! Gah! My poor friends...*huggles them long-distance and resolves to e-mail them tomorrow*

Other good news: I don't have to work until next week, and Egils is not this coming weekend, but the next one. I only have a week and a bit! o.O;; Gotta do some sewing, etc...

For those of you who have no idea what I'm talking about (and I know you're out there, it's okay), Egils is a large event put on by the Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA). It's fun fun fun for four fabulous days and three fabulous nights, as Robin Leach would say. Yeah. Anyway, it's a big medieval tourney (actually, think Viking/Norse), with singing and dancing and stuff in the evening. It's a ton of spiffiness--like stepping into a time warp. For those of you who know EXACTLY what I'm talking about--hope to see you there. Look for Lady Captain Persephone of the Pirate (Privateer, thank you!) ship Sweet Revenge. I'll be running around with my friends/crew Ariana Aislinn (sp?) and...well, I'm not sure what my other crewmate is calling herself. We got her from Hire-a-Pirate, and I don't think she's come up with a name yet. ^_~ It's all very silly and fun, as well as (hopefully) historically accurate. *gringrins*

Anyway, in the mundane world, I get to go to class tomorrow. That's right, I GET to. Not I HAVE to, I GET to. I've missed Short Story class sooo much! *bounces* And I get to show my Web Design teacher what I've come up with for my final project...I think she'll be impressed if I can get it to work...heh. Tables, tables, tables...
