Feeling cranky today. No, I don't want to talk about it. There's black ice everywhere, so please drive safely.

Regarding my new icon: I've always wanted a T-shirt with that on it. The actual picture is from a panel on the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel, "The Creation of Adam." The hand on the left is Adam's, and the hand on the right is God's. It's an amusing way of reminding me that we are all children of God, right? Okay.

I made another one last night that just says "Religious Icon." I was feeling a bit ironic.

Going to go now before I offend anyone. Ever have one of those days when you just want to offend people?

Anyway. Here's hoping my new icon isn't offensive. I don't think it's bad or anything, just funny and quirky. God does have a sense of humor, after all.

I laughed. It was funny, still is.

On a similar-yet-not-at-all vein, there were t-shirts with Darth Vader on them that said "Who's your daddy?" and I found that funny as well.
Perhaps I am just a sick and twisted girl! *wink*

I still luv ya even if'n yer cranky.
*hugs!*

Funny? Well, I am amused. It's lovely, in a silly, funny sort of way. ;)
...
And it still irks me I never got to visit the Vatican when I was in Rome. ^^;;

We never got around to it since we had saved it for the last day, and we went to the beach the day before that. Apparently our poor norse hides didn't go well with the mediterranean sun, and despite us using massive amounts of sun-block, we got a really nasty sunburn and could barely move (I was still shedding skin two weeks afterwards).
Soo, we didn't much feel like crowding with thousands upon thousands of people the next day. We decided to save that for the next possible trip to Rome. <;)

Having experienced nasty burns like that, I can definitely sympathize. Going out and spending time with all those people constantly jostling you...owie. Hopefully, you'll get to go to Rome again soon.
