Look here, my friends, for an example of the most blatant online plagarism it has ever been my misfortune to encounter. View the horror in his "Real World Comics" section. If you're familiar with Candy Palmer's Art Haven, then these comics should look extremely familiar. Also, check out his Schoolbooks and Brimstone section, featuring a comic he claims to have created. In reality, the comic is located here and is copyrighted to Stephanie Lostimolo. For more information, go here.
I have reported this smarmy git to Angelfire. He has stolen graphics and art from Candy Palmer, Bevin Brand, and Stephanie Lostimolo. Any good artists/comic writers out there? You could be next.
I may be overreacting a bit here, but plagarism is one of my buttons that it's a good idea to leave alone. Plagarism is wrong, plain and simple. It's stealing something that someone else has worked long and hard to create. Max-boy has been warned/asked to take down his plagarized materials several times, but he has not. He even has this at the bottom of his main page: ""The Return of Evil" RETURNS! SCREW THOSE COMMIE BASTARDS, AND SCREW THEIR WUSSY PLAGARISM POLICE PATROL!!! Go, go and read! Have a nice day. =^.^= !NEW! Max and Raven comics on the M&R comic page! Schoolbooks and Brimstone! READ IT!"
I think I'm going to be ill.
The other thing that really gets me about this guy is the sheer stupidity of his actions. There are lots of people on the 'net who read Schoolbooks and Brimstone, and Candy and Bevin have a ton of loyal fans. We're going to RECOGNIZE the work, especially when it's obvious that the perpetrator has either just downloaded the comics to his own server or TRACED the bloody things and just changed the names! And they're not even well-traced! Candy and Bevin's original Star Soupers comics are SO much better!
*deep breaths*
This is probably my biggest pet peeve ever. It's bigger than bad spelling. It's bigger than bad grammar. It's bigger than Mary Sues in horrible NC-17 fanfiction. (And these are BIG pet peeves for me!) Plagarism is wrong, and people need to know that it's wrong. It's immoral, as well as being against the law. And this guy needs to take that plagarized material down. End of story.
There's other art on this site that I suspect he also "borrowed" from other sources. If not, well, if he can draw that well, why is he stealing? The thing that really gets me is that he refuses to acknowledge that the artwork isn't really his.
E-mail him, if you like. The link's on his page. I didn't, because I have a feeling it won't make a difference to him. Report him, certainly. Follow the links and see for yourself what I mean. Does this make anybody else want to go into a berserker rage?
EDIT: More stupidity here! If you'll look through these pictures, you'll notice that ol' Max didn't even bother to take the signatures off 'em. He claims these are his, but they're obviously NOT.
EDIT II: Heh. I just found out that Max is a female. So, change all those "he" and "his" words up there to "she" and "her." The point remains the same.

This is such blatant hypocrisy that you wonder what thoughts are going through this person's head to justify their actions! There IS no justification, and they know FULL well what they are doing. Disgusting.
