Yesterday, I was in a pissy "don't-touch-me" mood for much of the day. I had to share a cart (thingy that we put our happy art supplies on) in watercolor, and I wanted to snarl and bite the guy's head off for DARING to put his stuff on MY cart. Needless to say, this is not my normal attitude. By the end of class, however, I was okay. Hrrm...mood-swingin' fun! It's probably PMS...nothing to really worry about.
And now, a question. How come so many people in the Middle East hate Americans? I mean, I know there's a reason, but I just don't know what it is. Is there a specific reason?
There are times that I wish I lived in Canada. Have you ever noticed that nobody seems to hate Canadians? Nobody wants to bother them, let alone go to war with them.
Sorry, I'm a bit depressed about the direction our country seems to be going. Attacking Iraq, and all that jazz. War is not cool, period. There must be another solution that doesn't involve killing thousands of innocent people, ne? And what's all this about nuclear bombs in North Korea? I read about that in the paper this morning...why would anyone WANT nuclear bombs? They cause huge messes and long-lasting consequences, making certain areas dangerous for years and years. Somebody explain to me why there is so much hate in the world and nobody seems to trust anybody else. Gr.
On top of that, Alex wasn't feeling well yesterday. He called me--not necessarily to tell me he was sick, but to make sure I wasn't sick. *huggles Alex* Poor Alex-kun.
In other news, there's a new taste treat in Arkansas! I read about it in the paper yesterday...get ready to be seriously sick.
DEEP-FRIED TWINKIES.
I mean, to use an 80's expression, gag me. Take something that already has so many preservatives that it might as well not have an expiration date, something that doesn't so much go bad as just dry out, and deep-fat-fry it! Yay! Oh, and let's not forget what the filling is made of...no, wait, forget that. You don't want to know. And this tantalizing taste treat is topped with powdered sugar! Yay! That makes it all better!
Can you hear the sarcasm drip? I don't even like Twinkies. I think they're icky. I can't even imagine deep-fat-frying them. Yech.
And now, I must go back to work. Life is good. I go to the coast this weekend. JOY! *wavies and bounces away*
