EVIL, EVIL DIAL-UP! DESTROY! *bashes with Mallet 'O' Doom*

Well, it looks like it's going to be another long night of hating my dialup. No sooner does the bloody stupid thing connect but it disconnects again. I WANT CABLE. Or even DSL! *sobs* Especially since I'm trying to use an online tutorial, and it is absolutely essential that I see the pictures! *considers cursing, even though she knows it won't help* Bloody stupid THINGY-HEAD! *kicks connection*

Since I can't do anything else, I might as well write an update. I haven't updated for a while, after all.
Thanks to dmscv for posting this link in mettekrangnes's LJ...This place has the best tutorials EVER. I mean it. I've never seen anything quite this nifty. It also works very well in combination with other tutorials...and I DREW A PROFILE! *cheers* Profiles are a pain in the butt for me, but this one actually looks decent! WOOT! Must get to a scanner...and I must practice my newfound skills! This place ROCKS! *cheers happily*

It's almost enough to take my mind off my dial-up...but not quite. STUPID DIAL-UP! *smacks it around viciously* It aggravates me the most because I want to talk to my friend Froggy, and she's online now, and ICQ is being negatively affected by the fact THAT MY CONNECTION DISCONNECTS EVERY FIVE SECONDS! ARGH! And now, it's only connected at 12000 bps! WHAT IS UP WITH THAT?! *fumes and stomps around*

In other news, life is going pretty well. School's good...I had Ballroom Dance with Alex tonight. That was wonderful, especially since I haven't really gotten to spend any time with him since Sunday. ^_^ I love Ballroom Dance. Also, I think we've picked out the song for the first Bride/Groom dance at our wedding reception...

Creative endeavors continue. The Tsunami Saga is calling to me again, but I want to get my drawing skills working for me...of course, writing skills are equally important. What to do, what to do? I know...BOTH! ^_^

Along those lines, I have just finished coloring a small creature that will bring joy and/or extreme cute-sickness to all who behold it. As soon as I get to a scanner...I know, promises, promises. I need somewhere other than Geosnitties to store my stuff, but I don't have the time or the money to get my own non-free webspace. Sorrow.

Well, I should go to bed now. It's nearly midnight. But I wanna stay up and be creative! WAH! Whine whine whinge. Okay, I'm better now. Life really IS good. It is. I have new art supplies. ^__^
