elfie_chanFirst of all, I'd just like to mention again how much I hate my dialup. It's better than nothing, I know, but I haven't been able to stay connected for more than two minutes tonight. I want cable. I want it NOW. Ah, the joys of being poor. >_<
In other news, school started on Monday. I LOVE Watercolor. I can't wait to learn more...it's so fun! It's a three-hour class, but it whizzes by like nobody's business. We've started just doing these gradient strips, seeing what adding more water or more pigment does to the color on the paper, learning how to manipulate water and paint, and so on. It's really fun. I have to do a painting of whatever I want this weekend, so that should be spiffy, too.
My other classes are also fun. I'm taking Publication Production and Design, which is nifty. We're not using any computers. At all. We're doing everything by hand. It's interesting. I figure, once I learn how to do everything by hand, I'll know what I'm doing when I get on a computer with layout software and everything.
Alex and I had our first ballroom dance class tonight. I LOVE ballroom dance. It was most fun. Our teacher is way cool.
Well, I'd better go to bed, as I have to get up way early tomorrow. This week's been hectic, but I hope to be able to update more often once I settle into the schedule. Take care, everybody! *hugs*
