It's Awfully Quiet In Here...

Hrm. Today I checked my LJ, only to see that nobody has commented on my last few entries. This, of course, makes me wonder...is anybody reading this? Am I just typing and typing, sending my thoughts and ramblings into the ether of the 'net, only to have them take a wrong turn and wind up in Limbo? Or am I just incredibly boring? Are my entries too long? Or are people too lazy to leave comments in my increasingly lonely LJ? Poor LJ. *pets it*

Okay, enough pity. I'm rather bored at the moment, so I think I shall ask a question: Do you prefer Macs or PCs? This, I believe, has been a provocative question through the ages of computing, or at least since there have been Macs and PCs. I am a PC user, all the way, but I am now taking a class to learn to use a Mac so that I can do lots of nifty Graphic Design stuff. So far, the Mac seems limited and awkward to me. We shall see.

Not lots going on other than that at the moment. I had something interesting to ramble about, but I've lost it now. If I remember it tonight, I'll update.

In the meantime, PLEASE LEAVE COMMENTS! I need to know that SOMEONE is listening! If you don't care what I say, well, never mind then. ^_^;;

I'm sure the Mac or PC bit will garner you lots of comments, if it makes it into circulation. There's plenty of opinionated people out there.

Myself, I have always used PCs, but I would love to have a Mac to experiment with some day. I'd like to be Mac-literate some day, even if I don't have any need of their multimedia capabilities.

Some of your entries are awful long, but that's not a bad thing. When they take up many pages, you might consider the lj-specific cut tag. Look it up in the FAQ - some find it useful, some find it counterproductive. Like, if you do a whole bunch of quizzes, put them after the cut so the casual observer isn't bombarded by images. Or if you post a picture... you know, it saves the poor modem users loads of grief, and all. Of course, anything that's been cut isn't searchable, and some folks won't bother to click. Like I said, there's two sides to the story. =)

Ummm, I don't usually reply to LiveJournal entries unless I have a specific reason to do so. ^^; Why? Because I have a lot of friends listed whose entries I read every day, and there's quite a lot of them to comment on every one... ^^; It's not that I don't read them! Just that commenting on them would take so much time. @_@ So I comment when I have reason. That's why! ^_^
