See Elfie Whine. Whine, Elfie, Whine!

I'm cold, I'm hungry, and I don't want to go to school. I still have a ton of homework to do, a meeting to go to tonight, and (hopefully!) a short RP to attend. I especially don't want to go to the gym today, but I probably should. Yech. At the moment, I just want to curl up under a warm blanket and go back to sleep. 6:30 am is far too early to get up, especially if one is skipping one's first class, like I am.

Alex's cold is still hanging on...I think he's suffering from a recurrence. All the same, he's studying his Japanese like a good person. I need to make some more flash cards and study, too. But I don't wanna. Wah. At least I can write fairly fluently in hiragana now. All I need to do is learn katakana...and then kanji for the rest of my life. Bah.

I was going to do an in-depth study on the gender of God today, but I'm too tired and I haven't done the research I wanted to do. Bah. Maybe next time. College has swallowed my brain.

Last night, I had irresponsible fun at arianadream's house with arianadream, brightshadowsky, her husband, my husband, and radien. When I say irresponsible, it just means that I wasn't doing my homework, but watching Fruits Basket and drinking hot spiced cider and eating gingerbread instead. ^_^;; It was a much-needed break. I wouldn't mind having a few more of those kinds of breaks.

I've had eggnog for breakfast the past two days. Yummy. I only had half a glass this morning--eggnog all gone. Phooey.

For some reason, LJ suddenly got huge. I mean, the font for everything looks humongous. Is anybody else experiencing this?

I got my passport back (name change! Yay!), so now all Alex and I have to do for our London trip is book the tickets and the hotel, and then we'll be set. I am so looking forward to the end of the term...*sighs*

Lately, I've been feeling like I'm in a daze...the days go by so fast, and there's so little time to do anything. I went through yesterday in a half-asleep stupor...Loki still needs to go to the vet and get fixed...there are so many projects that need to be finished ASAP...at the moment, I just want to tell the world to go away for a while. Bleh.

Well, maybe the next journal entry will be more uplifting. I'm really glad that I was able to get out last night...I hate homework, but I have to do it today. Yargh. Becoming incoherent. Time to stop and get shoes on so I can go to Japanese class. I am not looking forward to it.

Two, TWO Updates in One Day! Ah-hah-hah!

Someone explain this to me.
I go into Toys R Us because they're having this really great sale on PS2 games. I find out that there's a "Free Demo Disk" for the new Sphinx game that's coming out. Since I'm interested in finding out more about this game, I go to the counter and ask for the Demo Disk. The cashier informs me that I'd have to pre-order the game in order to get the Demo Disk. At this point, I figure, the "Free Demo Disk" is not free. Also, why would I want a demo disk if I'm going to buy the game anyway? I thought the whole point of getting a demo disk was to try out a game to see if you liked it. Am I crazy, or are they?

Today is turning out better than expected. Class wasn't too bad, and Alex and I went and exercised at the campus gym today. We really need to do that more often. The thing is, I hate going to the gym, but I always feel great after I'm done. The getting there is the hard part.

Also, it hailed today, intensely, for a very brief period. Alex got caught in it. He said that running in hail is like "running on ball bearings." Slippery, apparently.

I still have a lot of homework to do, but I'm feeling okay about it. Lots of katakana to study tonight, though. And I still don't want to go to this meeting. Bah. Ah, well.

Well, I should go shower and stuff. Will write more later.
