Second Verse, Same As The First!
Jun. 14th, 2006 08:56 pmGreat. Now "Henry the VIII" is stuck in my head.
I turned in my 15-page paper this morning. HUZZAH! I get to work on my 10-page paper this evening. BAH. It's due Friday, by noon. I'll have the sucker done by tomorrow night. I don't want to be doing anything other than final edits on Friday morning.
So, here's the tally!
Pages Needed: 10
Pages Written:0 2 4 and I'm so tired...gotta get me some caffeine...
5 7 and here's an LJ haiku!
Devil, meet LJ. LJ, meet the devil. Now I shall have to imitate St. Juliana and toss the devil in the privy.
Also, I observed something today that made me grin, even as my brain went "Buh?"
Imagine with me...you see a pink television set with lavender hearts on it. It is a Disney Princesses television set. Let its commercial pinkness revolt you. Now, imagine that this television is in Target, its pinkness accented by the more sober greys and blacks of the televisions that surround it. Got that? Okay, now imagine that the pink television, the Disney Princesses television, the television carefully researched and marketed to appeal to little girls whose bedrooms are a universe of pink, is showing scenes from Godfather: The Video Game. Picture the Godfather himself, making you an offer that you can't refuse while framed in happy fluffy Princess pink. Grin wickedly and continue on with your day.
