Yarrrrrrrr! It be Talk Like a Pirate Day (in case ye hadn't noticed). Be sure to enjoy it, me hearties! I be going to the dump this day to clean out the bilges. Yeccchhh. A pirate's work never be done, arrr.

Sadly, it has come to me attention that me crew has better hats than I. This must be remedied at the earliest opportunity, yarr and other salty seadog exclamations. Aye.

I finished Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince last night. Let me just say this: I guessed right. I am mighty. *does a woogie dance of triumph* In other news, I'm looking forward to the next book, but I am not looking forward to the hype. Since the next book is the last, the hype is going to be horrific. I may have to go and hide in a cave for about six months beforehand.

I have many theories regarding the future events of Harry Potter's adventures:
It's Spoileriffic! )

All in all, I would say that this is probably the best-written Harry Potter book thus far. It's much, much better than Order of the Phoenix. I was highly impressed. I don't believe that J.K. Rowling is OMG THE BEST WRITER IN THE WORLD!!!!, but I still finished the book and felt quite satisfied. I can see why many fans wangsted, but I believe that their wangst was unnecessary and a result of the mistaken belief that authors should do everything that their fans say they should. Everything that happened was, in my opinion, necessary to the story. Harry's growing up, and so are his friends. Nothing lasts forever. I love how the characters are changing and growing as the story progresses. It makes things more interesting.

That's pretty much what I have to say about that. Now, it's time to fold clothes. In a piratey way, of course. Arrrrr...

EDIT: ARRRRR!

My pirate name is:

Dread Pirate Read

Like the famous Dread Pirate Roberts, you have a keen head for how to make a profit. Even through many pirates have a reputation for not being the brightest souls on earth, you defy the sterotypes. You've got taste and education. Arr!

Get your own pirate name from fidius.org.

That be me, all right. YARRRRR!

1) Diablo's, a club in town, is having a "Talk Like a Pirate Day Hurricane Benefit." There were at least two guys in full pirate costume standing out front when we drove by. I just thought that was awesome.

2) We have our wedding picture proofs. Apparently, we left them at our friends' house over a year ago. They live in La Pine. Finally, I can get those prints made! Yaaay!

That is all. It is time to play video games.
