I KNOW WHAT I WANT TO BE WHEN I GROW UP!

Today, my Publications class went down to the college's print shop to look at the presses and stuff. I want to run an offset press. Those things are SO cool. And I'd be working with paper and ink and books and publications while I work on designing my own on the side. Unfortunately, training is not always easy to get...but it'd be worth it. With any luck, I'll be able to intern in the print shop when I hit second year Graphic Design. WAHOO! Printing presses ROCK!

Besides the general joy of working with a press, I think it would be a good idea for me to learn about the process of printing and how to do it myself. That way, when I want to make prints of my art or publish a book, I'll know how the process works and how to make it work for me. ^__^

I'm so happy! This is sooo nifty!

In other news...projects are getting done, including sketches I promised people. This also makes me happy. I need to work more on wedding plans and things...Alex and I STILL need to interview photographers, and I need to work on the guest list. Yis. Plus, I need to call some hotels...better do that today. ^_^

I get to go ballroom dancing tonight! And I'm not sick! WAI! It turns out I just have a bad cold. I think. And Alex is better! Life is good! YAY!

Well...back to work. It's really nice when you return to work and your coworkers tell you how much they missed you. I actually MISSED work. That's how very spiff my workplace is. ^_^

Oh, and HAPPY HALLOWEEN, everybody! Yes, I dressed up. I'm a pirate, of course. ARRRRR. Gimme all your chocolate, or walk the plank. Arrr.
