BLARGH! BLARGH, I SAY!
Oct. 29th, 2002 10:50 amhttp://quizilla.com is officially on my "BAD SITE! BAD!" list. Every time I go there, a million popups appear on my computer, and I can't make them go away. Every time I close one, five more pop up. I hate pop ups. They are of the DEVIL! YERS! Gah. Whoever invented popup windows should be beaten within an inch of his life, and then forced to watch Barney videos until he screams for mercy!
'Scuse me. I'm feeling a bit vindictive today.
In other news, I'm sick. Of all the weeks I had to be sick, this is the worst timing ever. I have a major lab in my Publications class today, which I'm missing. I have a midterm in Watercolor tomorrow, and I don't know if I'm going to make it to that. I don't get to go to the doctor until Thursday. Bah. I hate being without health insurance.
On the upside, I'm working on art today. Not homework (that'll hopefully happen this afternoon), but art. I've got some projects to finish for other people, and some fun art to do for myself. I'm hoping to get a portrait-thingy of Tsunami done today. WAI!
Last weekend was a blast and a half...the medieval event was fun, but small. We had a total of 52 people show up, I think. The cabins were quite cold in the evening--I was glad I brought extra blankets and stuff. The competition was fun, and the judges were cool. My brother and I did our rendition of "Beowulf: A Kids' Classic," which was well-received. People laughed in all the right places, which was awesome. What was weird was that our piece was the only funny piece in the whole competition. I guess Amergin's Revenge is a pretty serious bardic contest, but it doesn't have to be! Funny can be winning, too! (Yes, we won the storytelling bit. It was cool, cuz we were just doing it for fun.) Also, the food was fantastic. They had a cumin chicken...mmmmmm...and good bread. Much funness was to be had there, and we had lots of it. AND I got to spend time with Alex-kun! WAI! Double WAI! WAI WAI! ^____^
I miss Alex. ;_;
Well, I should go and see about some art-making and tea-drinking now. My throat hurts. Wah.
