Like the mood-thingy says, I'm rather disappointed. In myself. I left the house today and arrived at the bus stop just in time to miss the bus. Then it took me a little while to realize that I'd left my portfolio at home, and the portfolio of course holds everything I need for class. So, I went home and got the portfolio, returning to the bus stop just in time to miss the next bus. GRRR. So, now I'm an hour late for a class I wasn't in the mood for anyway, even though it's one of my favorites (watercolor). I got to school and didn't go to class, which was stupid as it's my favorite class and the only reason I had to go to school today. I was just disgusted with my day in general--total do-over. I thought about going home and going back to bed, but I decided that would be the coward's way! So, here I am at work. Bah. Hopefully, tomorrow will be better. I'll do makeup work next week.
There is a ray of sunshine in the gloom of my grouchiness. I have returned to the joy that is ElfQuest. I went to the library last night with my dad (yay!) and picked up an ElfQuest graphic novel I hadn't read before, Dreamtime. It reminded me of why I loved ElfQuest so much in the first place and how much I missed those little elfy-peoples. Now, I am inspired to draw ELVES! Whoo, what a huge surprise. ^_^
This weekend is Amergin's Revenge, a very spiffy SCA event. I am only competing in one event, misc/storytelling, and that's just for fun. My brother will help me, and I will rest and relax with my sweetie. WAI! Of course, the fact that I didn't go to class today has the side effect that I don't have homework this weekend. Hrrrm...still, I don't plan to make a habit of skipping class. I AM paying for it, after all. Bleh. There I go, annoying myself again. Gotta stop that.
Much scanning occurred yesterday. I MUST update my Elfwood account, and I MUST get my webpage into at least a semi-viewable state! YIS!
Well, must scoot now. Listening to happy Japanese music before workness begins.
